Rich initially trained at Saddleback Church as a Lay Counselor after a successful career in marketing and advertising. That experience was so fulfilling  that he went back to school and got his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology so that he could work with you and yours. 

In addition to an extensive private practice, Rich is on staff as a Psych Therapist in the Behavioral Health department at Mission Hospital Laguna Beach (formerly South Coast Medical Center) where he is honored to work with Inpatient Psychiatric, Day Treatment, Chemical Dependency and Eating Disorder patients and their families. At the hospital, Rich has gained valuable experience helping clients deal with profound challenges that many therapists rarely see. That may be one of the reasons he has been so effective.
